Digital X-Rays

Our office is proud to offer digital x-rays on site! By having this service to offer patients, it allows Dr. Brian to get a full picture of the health of your spine - not just where the pain is.

Do I have to get x-rays before I get adjusted?

No, x-rays are not required. That being said, there are several advantages of seeing the condition of your spine before treatment:

  • X-rays can help chiropractors see things that are not visible during a physical exam, such as fractures, arthritis, or abnormal curvatures of the spine. Being able to visualize these potential conditions can help create a proper care plan, and also ensure you receive the safest treatment possible.
  • X-rays can be used to track a patient's progress over time, allowing chiropractors to measure the success of their treatments and make adjustments as needed. For example, chiropractors can compare images taken before and after adjustments to see the immediate impact of their work.

Are x-rays safe?

X-rays in our office are incredibly safe. Because we use digital technology as opposed to plain film x-rays, we are able to reduce the patient's exposure to radiation by about 70%. Furthermore, our panel has been upgraded to an ultra sensitive rare earth metal called Cesium, which further reduces exposure by an additional 15%.
